Acacia, Wattle / Acacia sp.

Scientific name: Acacia sp.

Common name (English / Spanish / Catalan): Acacia, Wattle / Acacia, Mimosa / Acàcia, Mimosa

Perennial tree or shrub highly branched with grayish or white bark. Angled, hanging and pubescent branches (covered with hairs). The leaves are simple or very divided, presenting up to 25-40 pairs of small and narrow leaflets (leaf portions).
Flowers yellow, very small and abundant, grouped in small globose inflorescences, which are also very abundant. The fruit is an elongated and compressed legume.
Some species bloom in winter, from January to March, and others in spring-summer, from May to June.
