Common name (English / Spanish / Catalan): Privet / Aligustre / Troana-Olivereta
Evergreen trees and shrubs. The trees have a leafy and rounded crown; shrubs have different forms, from fairly compact to lax. Smooth and gray bark. Leaves are lanceolate, more or less dark green color and with size varying from big to small according to the species.
Small white flowers (1 cm), very abundant, grouped in pyramidal inflorescences. Small spherical fruits (0,5 cm), black when mature, grouped on the axes of the old inflorescence.
They bloom from June to July.
