Planttes is part of the citizen science project “Urban flora and allergy, do you cooperate?”.
In Citizen Science projects, the society participates actively and is a fundamental part of research.
Planttes and “Urban flora and allergy, do you cooperate?” improve the information generated by the Point of Information of Aerobiology (PIA-UAB), because they detail the risk of allergy at street level. Participating helps to better understand the relationship between the environment and allergic diseases and to improve the quality of life of the people affected.
